Now that you have chosen to open an account with Hostmaster.ca, we have a few essential details to assist with a quick, smooth start-up. The following is what you will need to begin with:

1. An internet connection, and if you are reading this you must already have one!
2. Your login name and password will have been supplied to you by Hostmaster.ca. Both of these will be needed whenever you upload files or update your site.
3. Your primary page must be named "index.html"; any additional pages may be named anything you choose.
4. The last of these necessities is a program that allows you to upload files to our server. May we suggest an FTP program such as WS-FTP, Cute-FTP, or Fetch (Mac), or a web browser such as Netscape 3.0 and higher.
