Once you have installed an FTP program, you will need to set up a connection to Hostmaster.ca. Follow the example below for any direction you may need. Once you are connected to the internet, open the program, and double click on the connection you have created.
Should you have any particular problems with the set-up of your FTP software, be sure to consult the help files that come with the software or send the author of the software and email for the quickest response.
Once you have logged in you will be put directly into you home directory and you will need to move to your public directory. If you are using a graphical FTP program, simply double click on the public folder in the home directory.
If you are using WS_FTP, there will be two buttons in the center of your screen that upload or download your files.
